Dr. Hashmi was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2002. Dr. Hashmi attended Midwestern University-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she obtained her medical degree in 2008. She completed her residency training at UT Southwestern Family Medicine Program at Parkland Hospital from 2008 – 2011 and is working since then in outpatient Family Medicine.  She joined Honey Pediatrics and Family Medicine in 2015.

Her interests include Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Nutrition & Wellness, and natural therapies.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and baking.
