Dr. S. Ovais Mohiuddin, MD FAAP
Dr. Mohiuddin was born in Houston and raised in Dallas. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington, and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston.
He completed his pediatric residency at UT-Southwestern, Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been in practice since 2007. He started Honey Pediatrics & Family Medicine in 2014 after assuming the long standing pediatric practice of Dr. Peter Sherrod.
He serves as the Chief of Pediatrics at Medical City Plano and serves on multiple hospital committees.He is a volunteer faculty member, Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at UT-Southwestern and teaches pediatric residents. He has been voted as “Mom Approved Doctor” by Dallas Child magazine multiple years.
Dr. Mohiuddin is completed the fellowship training in Integrative Medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at University of Arizona and has trained with many of the leading integrative physicians in the country
From teaching newborn classes, sponsoring youth sports, to hosting a pediatric radio show, Dr. Mohiuddin is passionate about being an advocate for children and educating families about children’s health. He is married with 3 children and enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and playing basketball .
